What this shows

Every device on the internet reaches websites through a public IP address, usually given to you by your internet provider. This page shows that address and what it reveals: your country, your provider (ISP) and its network number (ASN), the hostname, and how securely you're connected. It also lists what your browser shares with every site you visit, and tells you when you're using Tor or Cloudflare WARP.

How to use it

  1. Open the page. Your IP appears at the top straight away.
  2. Press Copy IP to paste it into a support chat, game server or firewall rule.
  3. Turn a VPN on or off and refresh to check that it changes your IP.

FAQ

Can websites see where I live from my IP?

Only roughly. An IP address reveals your country and internet provider, and IP location databases can often guess your city or region, but never your street address.

Why does it show the wrong country or provider?

VPNs, proxies and Cloudflare WARP send your traffic through another network, so sites see that network's address instead of yours. Mobile networks sometimes route traffic through another country too.

Do you store my IP address?

No. The details come straight from Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and public DNS lookups. They are shown to you and nothing is saved.

What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6?

An IPv4 address looks like 203.0.113.7. IPv6 is the newer, longer format with colons, like 2001:db8::1. The page shows whichever one your connection used.
