What this does
This tool splits one PDF into smaller ones without changing the pages: text stays searchable and quality stays the same. You can extract a few pages into a new PDF, split a long document into files of equal size, or set your own ranges, like one file per chapter. When there's more than one result, you get them together in a ZIP file. Everything happens in your browser.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF or drop it onto the box.
- Pick how to split it. To extract pages, click them or type ranges.
- Press Split PDF and download the result.
FAQ
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF is split by your own browser, on your device, and never sent anywhere.
How do I write page ranges?
Use commas between parts and a dash for ranges, like 1-3, 5, 8-10. A range with no end, like 8-, goes to the last page.
Can I change the page order?
Yes. When extracting pages, the new PDF follows the order you type, so 5, 1-3 puts page 5 first.
